The Winter Sauna Carnival 2026 was a great success, welcoming nearly one thousand visitors. Thank you to everyone who took part and made the event as amazing as it was!
The Winter Sauna Carnival will return in 2027 on an even bigger scale, bringing together an even wider selection of mobile saunas from all around Finland at Ikaalinen Spa & Resort. In addition, at Sauna World Uttu you can relax throughout the weekend while enjoying immersive Aufguss rituals.

ARRIVAL & ESSENTIALS
Come and enjoy an unforgettable Winter Sauna Carnival at Ikaalinen Spa & Resort!

Ticket purchases and wristband exchanges take place at the ticket sales desk in the lobby of the Ikaalinen Spa & Resort main building. The carnival area begins at our Vesitropiikki, where you’ll find exhibitors, possible rental equipment, changing rooms, showers and the main entrance to the Carnival Area through the gates of Sauna World UTU.
We recommend bringing a small bag for your personal belongings. Make sure you have everything you need, such as your phone to capture special moments and a payment method for refreshments at the licensed serving areas, as well as, for example, a sauna hat if you really want to dive into the carnival atmosphere. There are lockable lockers in the changing rooms, but their number is limited. Please take care of your valuables while moving around the sauna area. Enjoy the warmth of the saunas and the wintery atmosphere, capture the moments on your phone, and share them using the hashtag #Talvisaunakarnevaali!
DRESS CODE & RENTALS
At the Winter Sauna Carnival, dress comfortably and practically! Bring a swimsuit, towel, bathrobe, and flip-flops or ice-swimming shoes for moving around the spa and outdoor areas. Please follow safety guidelines when using the ice hole.
You can also rent bathrobes, towels, sandals, and seat covers from the spa for a small fee. Please note that rental items are available in limited quantities. With this gear, you’ll be ready to enjoy both the heat and the refreshing cold-safely and in style!
VOTING
Vote for your favorite mobile sauna! Voting stations are located throughout the spa area. Simply scan the QR code at a voting point and cast your vote for your favorite sauna.
