Bring your sauna to the event!

Dear mobile sauna owner,

We are delighted and honoured to invite you to take part in the Winter Sauna Carnival, held on Friday 30 – Saturday 31 January 2026. This unique event offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your mobile sauna to a wide audience, connect with fellow professionals and enthusiasts, and enjoy first-class facilities in the spa and natural surroundings.

At the same time, we are aiming to set a world record by gathering the largest number of saunas ever at a winter sauna carnival – and your participation would play a key role in making it happen!

Event details

Date: Friday 30 – Saturday 31 January 2026
Venue: Ikaalinen Spa & Resort

We provide for two persons and your sauna:

  • Free accommodation in a budget apartment during the event (Thu–Sun, 29 January – 1 February). Upgrade options available for an additional fee.
  • Breakfast and access to the Spa on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Event tickets to the sauna area and evening parties on Friday and Saturday
  • Full infrastructure provided: water, electricity, and firewood included

Bringing your sauna & arrangements

You have the option to bring your mobile sauna to the venue already in autumn and collect it later in spring. We will take care of storage as well as transportation to the event area. This way, your sauna will be in place and fully ready when the carnival begins.

Audience vote & prize

An audience vote will be held on both event days. The sauna receiving the highest number of votes will be awarded a 500 € gift card to Ikaalinen Spa & Resort.

Programme

Friday 30.1.2026

  • 16:00–21:00 Sauna area, the Spa and UTU Sauna World open to the public – saunas heated and ready, with presentations and activities
  • 22:00–02:00 Evening party

Saturday 31.1.2026

  • 14:00–21:00 Sauna area, the Spa and UTU Sauna World open to the public – saunas heated and ready, with presentations and activities
  • 22:00–02:00 Evening party

Sunday 1.2.2026

  • Dismantling of the sauna area by 16:00
  • Removal of mobile saunas or transfer to the storage area

Official inspection

All mobile saunas must be ready for the official inspection by Friday 30 January at 15:00. This ensures the safe and smooth running of the event.

Instructions for participants

  • Make sure your sauna is in good condition and equipped with all the necessary accessories
  • If you bring your sauna in advance and/or leave it for storage after the event, please arrange the schedule and details with the organisers (talvisaunakarnevaali@ikaalinenspa.fi)
  • Ensure compliance with all requirements for the official inspection
  • Bring along a positive and open mind – the Winter Sauna Carnival is all about new encounters and memorable experiences
